Ahh, finally, I felt much more comfortable writing in Japanese (not really). I hope I would write more about Japan from now, because, well, I live here (lol). Normally I often listen to the song because of the vibe that it brings, so the lyrics itself doesn’t have to have too much of meanings (of course it would affect the perception and imagery, but for me I care more about the melody and the beats). To be quite honest, Jpop, as a genre, is not my favorite. My breed of Linkin Park, the Killers, and other Alternative / Indie Rock such as Two Doors Cinema Club, the Phoenix or Tame Impala aren’t so similar to the ones I could find on the stream here in Tokyo. Regardless, these days I found Japanese are very soothing to listen to, and sometimes I started to appreciate the message behind it. The cool thing is, once you start understand the lyrics, the literature, and the well put visuals, it makes a lot of sense and it makes me like the song more.
Today music introduction is Yoasobi’s new EP Tabun (たぶん). I started liking the artist since the big hit Racing into the Night (夜に駆ける）
